The Base is situated in a meander of the Seine, between the chalk cliffs of the Val de Seine and the Bord-Louviers forest. Thus, the "Lac du Mesnil" and the "Lac des Deux Amants" benefit from a privileged environment.

The "lac des deux amants"
The lake is open during the summer, from April to October. This leisure sapce offer two supervised beaches, pétanque areas, volley-ball courts, picnic areas, two miniature golf courses, three fest food outlets and a pedalo and wind surfing hire facility.
Those seeking excitement can enjoy water teleskiing, wind surfing, catamarans, canoe-kayaking, etc.

le lac du Mesnil
The "Lac du Mesnil" centre is more sports-oriented.
It includes, notably, the Centre Nautique (water sports, outdoor activities, etc.) and the Centre Régional Jeunesse et Sport (rowing, canoe-kayaking, etc.). It is open all the year round and offers various accomodation and dining options.
In summer, the centre proposes sailing, climbing, canoe-kayaking, rowing and water skiing. These activities are replaced in winter by a climbing wall, gym sessions, etc.
